Stacy McDaniel Named Game On! Hero by Yasso Foundation
Our Executive Director and Co-Founder, Stacy McDaniel, was recently named a Game On! Hero by the Yasso Foundation. Yasso Frozen Yogurt is a nationwide company that recognizes folks who help others lead a healthy life and awards them grants to continue their work.
"We want to spotlight and celebrate the work of volunteers, coaches and any community leaders that are inspiring health and wellness in their neighborhoods," the Yasso Foundation states, "Whether they organize a local run club, volunteer their time to coach or referee, or any other small way they help get people of all ages moving."
With C4K equipping thousands of kids each year to help them play sports, one of our donors thought Stacy fit the bill as a Game On! Hero and nominated her. We are so proud of Stacy for her nomination and are thankful to the Yasso Foundation for their belief in the power of sports! This grant will help us continue to foster program growth across the state and get more kids involved in sports.
